2010 Open Source Awards CMS Awards

Looks like WordPress has topped out the competition in a category most people wouldn’t have even placed it in!  As a blogging platform, WordPress has proved itself as more then capable, but as a web development platform (CMS aka content management system) it has truly started to take the lead.  I use WordPress to develop all my sites, and I’d say 90% of clients don’t understand that WordPress is simply the best solution for most sites, but when they see the results they are always impressed.  Keep up the great work WordPress, we’re excited to see you get the rightful place, FIRST place!

Hall of Fame CMS

This category is reserved for those CMSes that have won the Open Source CMS Award at least once in previous years.

Congratulations to WordPress and a thank you to Drupal and Joomla! for taking part in the Awards this year.
